In 2006, Building Africa in line with is Education Pillar started the Millennium Academy community Development project to aid the under-privileged child with basic education support.

  • Education

  • Employment

People and culture

We came together in order to find ways of alleviating some of the problems. This was to be achieved through formulation of strategies that would target the most affected people, in this regard the children living in the slums.

Our target area became Mathare slums and our main focus is to consolidate resources to assist the poor, orphaned children to get education and the unemployed idle youth to be self sufficient and or get employed.
